Pre-K Art Classes

During the school year, there are five sessions. The classes are designed for 4 – 6 year olds.

 

At the Franklin Art Center, we nurture your children’s curiosity and imagination while developing art skills and knowledge in a fun environment. Our classes provide our 4-6 year olds with hands-on activities, stories, and unique artistic explorations in a wide variety of media. The curriculum is based on the Massachusetts Visual Arts Frameworks.

Monday, Wednesday, or Friday | 1 hour class | $120 for 6 weeks (*All three days can be attended, see Class Bundles below for discount rate.)
New Times for Pre Schoolers Monday ,Wednesday, Friday classes have been changed to a 1 hour class for those that are interested in art but don't have the time for a longer project. There are two time slots available on these days. If no class is scheduled, Playdates may be arranged. Great for Mom's groups.

Mini Matisse (4-6 year olds): Students will work on colors, shapes, and patterns while learning about artists and seasonal topics. We will work on cutting, tearing, folding paper, and other fine motor preschool skills while creating drawings and paintings. Students will gain self-confidence and self-esteem in the process.

Petite Picasso (4-6 year olds):Petite Picasso is a pre-school class focusing on lines, patterns, and shapes while learning about artists and seasonal topics. Students will understand and draw basic shapes, follow directions, and improve self-confidence and self-esteem while creating art.

Art Adventures (4-6 year olds):Art Adventures is another pre-school class that focuses on exploring the arts and allowing children to express themselves through the use of a wide variety of mediums. We will work on developing fine motor skills and inspiring young artists’ imagination while learning new skills.
