Franklin Art Center policies

Cancellation and Make-up policies

We follow the Franklin Public School cancellation decisions. There are no art classes on snow days. Birthday parties and special Brownie / Cub Scout activities etc. will be rescheduled.

There are no classes during legal or state holidays. The Art center follows the public school calendar for vacations and holidays and this is reflected in your tuition schedule.

The Franklin Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. Classes will be cancelled five (5) business days prior to the start of the class and full refunds or credits will be given. Notifications to students will be made five days before the start date of the class.

Individuals who miss class do so at their own loss.

Tuition Payments

For the Preschool Mini- Matisse and Petite Picasso classes, afterschool artshops, and adult lessons enrollment tuition will be due at the beginning of each six week session.

ENROLLMENT IS NOT GUARANTEED WITHOUT PAYMENT. CLASS SIZES ARE LIMITED!

Enrollment

A minimum enrollment is required. In addition, a maximum enrollment exists to ensure the quality of the student's experience. Only fully paid registrations will be considered as enrolled. By delaying payment, individuals run the risk of being wait-listed or class being canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

Registration does not guarantee class enrollment. Successful processing of the registration form and full payment is necessary. Please be aware that incomplete information on registration forms may delay successful processing and enrollment.

Refunds

We do not refund any of our classes. A refund is at the discretion of the school and will be a tuition credit. Tuition credit may be used for any future classes. There are no refunds for missed classes.

Child Pick-up Policy

No child will be released to anyone, at the end of class, who has not been approved by a custodial parent. Approval must be received in writing prior to the pick-up. Please tell anyone who has been approved by the parent to bring one form of picture ID, which the teacher will ask to see before releasing the child. The purpose of this policy is to assure safety for your child.

Late Child Pick-up

The parent will be charged $20 for every 15 minute block of time after the 5 minute grace period. Payment is due at that time. No exceptions.
