Painting / Brushwork Technique

Franklin Art Center now offers private lessons for beginning and intermediate artists 18 and older who want more individual guidance. We can create a unique curriculum for one-on-one lessons and demonstrations to help with technical skills and artistic development.

It’s time you discover how possible it is to paint or draw well, whether you have little or no experience. You can finally make the time to sharpen the skills you may already possess. Drawing and painting are wonderful channels for expressing who you are, and establishing personal time and a creative genre to call your own. I can show you how to look at and consider the physicality of things in a more effective way, help redirect your imaginative process, and provide you with problem-solving tools for when you work independently.

We will creatively challenge youth who have a serious interest in pursuing visual arts. We can also give rigorous guidance and assistance to teens preparing a portfolio for college admission.

Tuition: $25 per hour

Adult and teen lessons - recommended time of 1.5 hours per lesson. Supply list available upon request.
